Dosa

chennai, tamil nadu

Dosa is one of the most iconic foods in the state of Tamil Nadu, South India. It's commonly compared to crepes: it's indeed a similar preparation but the batter is made with rice and lentil flours. Dosa can include a masala filling (spiced potatoes) and is always served along sambar (a spicy lentil soup), as well as chutneys (mint and coconut).
