It was a hot, steamy day during the rainy season and we were walking through Lumpini Park for the first time in our lives. We discovered an older Thai lady sitting on the concrete walkway selling salads to-go. We looked at each other, at the salad she had produced in a few bowls and a bag, and we decided to go for it.
I have never tasted anything fresher or more delicious in my life.
