Jook (known in English as congee) is the typical breakfast in Thailand. It's basically a rice soup cooked until the rice gains a porridge-like consistency and topped up with different ingredients. The most common ones include some green vegetables and pork meat balls. In Muslim regions of Southern Thailand, it would be chicken meatballs instead.
