Local cheese curds

Submitted by lsr
Paradis du Fromage
116 Marche Atwater Montreal

These fresh and squeaky Quebecois cheese curds (“fromage en grains,” in French) were bought inside Marche Atwater at one of several cheese shops, but they're a common spot at many a Montreal dépanneur, or corner shop. Delicious on their own for a snack, they're also, of course, one of the key components of the province's beloved poutine.
