Sabich is a traditional Shabbat breakfast of Iraqi Jews that can now be found all over Israel. It is typically a street food, but I opted for a platter version. The base of the sandwich is fried eggplant and hard-boiled eggs in a pita. This one came with Israeli salad, tahini and boiled potatoes for garnish.
