Kentucky is famous for fried chicken but when you think of Louisville, you think of a Hot Brown. A Hot Brown is a simple dish of turkey on toast, covered by Mornay sauce and topped with bacon and sliced tomato. It was created in 1926 by Fred Schmidt at the famous Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY and is great for lunch, dinner, or a late night supper.
