Train Wreck Fries Submitted by: baismais
New York, New York, United States

As is our custom, our group went to Jimmy's Corner (a neighborhood "joint" located on W.44th St one block from Times Square) for a Bloody Mary, to kill time while waiting for our matinee Broadway show. To our dismay Jimmy's was not open (yes, it was after 12:00 pm!), so we went to Virgil's Real Barbeque which is virtually right next door @ 152 W. 44th St. Along with our Bloody Mary's we ordered some ribs, onion rings, and something called Train Wreck Fries. The fries were a show-stopper! In short, it was like a plate of nachos but with fries...everything else (cheese, bacon, scallions, jalapeno peppers) was on the plate. AWESOME!!!
