A neighborhood once very famous for Indian food still has at least 5 restaurants in and around 74th Street offering all-day buffets for less than $12. We like Indian Taj best, where you can get North Indian classics like this chana bhature. Good naan is plentiful, you can build your own papri chaat, and you will leave very full.
