Kewa datsi

In the ever-growing HImalayan community of Jackson Heights/Elmhurst/Woodside comes yet another addition to the mix. This one is considered the only Bhutanese restaurant in the USA. Pictured here is the signature dish of Bhutan, kewa datsi, a cheesy mix of potates, chilli's, and onions. Dip your tingmo into it and you have the Himalyan version of queso. Very interesting and delicous.
