BBQ: brisket, sausage, ribs

The Salt Lick
18300 FM 1826 Driftwood, TX

The famed Salt Lick doesn't have the best BBQ in Central Texas, but it's pretty darn good--and it's a super fun place, with live music, picnic-style benches, and a BYOB policy. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Come hungry and get a combo platter with 3-4 meats, plus potato salad, beans, and slaw.
