Where: Granville Island Public Market (1661 Duranleau St., map), a feast for the senses and a must for any hungry visitor to this city.
When: Sun-Thurs, 9am-9pm; Fri-Sat, 9am-10pm
Order: Whatever strikes your fancy, but here’s a start: local seasonal produce, like berries and cherries, from Sunlight Farms; ready-to-eat risotto cakes and chicken-curry pockets from Laurelle’s Fine Foods; artisanal breads like fig and anise from Terra Breads; pate, sausage, and local cheese from Oyama Sausage Co.; spicy maple pecans from Edible British Columbia across the street.
